Club & Facilities
Roma Aero Club's Clubhouse is located in Hangar Drive next to Air BP at the Roma Airport, and the club has 2 Aircraft hangars which house up to 9 aircraft situated 100 metres North, adjacent to 'MI Helicopters' premises.
The clubhouse has full kitchen and classroom facilities. Arrangements can also be made for temporary accomodation for pilots passing through or in need of local assistance from our members, including 'RAA Level 2' 'running repairs'.
The Roma Airport is a certified aerodrome, with multiple passenger services operating and requires possession & display of ASIC credentials for pilots accessing the apron. Toilet and cafeteria facilities are available in the main terminal.
Other Roma Airport residents include RFDS, Lifeflight, IOR, Stirling Helicopters and MI Helicopters.
BP Card facilities exist, along with 'on-call' Jet A1 services also.
CTAF frequency is 126.95, with the main bitumen runway (36-18) complimented by a smaller, serviced, unsealed cross-strip in the 27-09 orientation.
